6/1/25 - What is the Ascension? - Cycle C
Dear Families,
Thursday, May 29th was the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, and the video for this week will reflect on the readings of that day. Forty days after his resurrection, Jesus took his disciples up to a hill and they saw him disappear into a cloud. It must have been hard for the apostles to watch Jesus leave them and ascend to Heaven.
As a family watch video in its entirety and then ask each other these questions.
Where did He go? What did he say? What did he promise?
Family Prayer: Lord, turn our minds and hearts toward heaven. Give us a desire to live there someday with you. Amen.

Querida Familias,
El jueves 29 de mayo fue la Solemnidad de la Ascensión del Señor, y el video de esta semana reflexionará sobre las lecturas de ese día. Cuarenta días después de su resurrección, Jesús llevó a sus discípulos a una colina y lo vieron desaparecer en una nube. Debe haber sido difícil para los apóstoles ver a Jesús ascender al cielo.
Como familia vean el video en su totalidad y luego preguntese el uno al otro.
